Q: How long does it take the carpet to dry?
A: Dry times depend on many factors, including the condition of your carpet and the method of cleaning that we use to get the best results for your home. Most carpet will dry within 6-8 hours. In some cases, it may take longer to dry completely.
On some homes we are able to use a low moisture method that provides faster dry times!
Q: Do you move furniture
A: Yes, we are happy to move small furniture items at your request. For liability reasons, we will work around larger items instead of moving them. Please let us know what furniture you would like moved before we begin our cleaning. If you have a special request, please give us a call before booking.
Q: Will Carpet Cleaning Remove pet odors
A: Most of the time, pet stains and odors get embedded into carpet, the carpet backing and padding. And sometimes into the sub floor.
Having a big dog (or cat) plays a significant role in how much pee gets into the carpet. The bigger the bladder the bigger the mess. Smaller dogs have a more likelihood of success.
What can the Homeowner do?
- Act FAST! Get to the spot and absorb before gravity pulls it down deep into the pad or subfloor.
- Apply an enzymatic cleaner or hydrogen peroxide. Spray and walk away.
- Repeat if necessary.
Why doesn’t carpet cleaning alone remove pet smells? Most of the time carpet cleaning itself can actually make the carpet smell worse. Ever walk into a room with pet odors on a hot humid day and get floored by the smell? Carpet Cleaning can do the same thing without a pet stain treatment application.
Our process includes using a black uv light to pin point the stains and then apply our own stain treatment. We use a machine called a CRB to work the treatment deeper into the fibers and then extract and rinse. We then apply a green deodorizer to the room to help with any residual odors.
This process is just a topical treatment. Sometimes if the subfloor is damaged replacement may be necessary.
